Trusts and Foundations
We are interested in partnering with charitable organisations on a range of unique causes and projects to promote and sustain high-quality science education and communication.
There are many special opportunities within the following areas of our work:
- Scientific programs on a diverse range of topics such as renewable energy, nanotechnology, health and wellness and science blogging
- Art exhibitions that merge the disciplines of art and science
- The SpiRit program, which enhances the scientific education of underprivileged students by sponsoring them to attend the RiGB Christmas Lecture
- Science Outside the Square, which takes science education into the South Australian community
- Free Range Science, which takes science education into rural communities outside of South Australia
- Non-academic training for young scientists (public speaking; communicating with the media; what to do with your PhD; science writing; non-traditional careers in science; intellectual property; commercialisation and patent law)
- Sponsoring RiAus memberships for key communities
