Science Outside the Square

Science Outside the Square (SOS) is a successful program of high-profile public events on topical and sometimes controversial subjects which has been run in South Australia since 2005. Employing innovative event formats and venues, SOS brings together scientists, artists, musicians, athletes, and people of all ages and from all walks of life. Science Outside the Square is part of RiAus’s mission to position science at the heart of the community.

RiAus will continue to provide a home from which SOS can provide a community platform for discussion and debate on hot issues in science across Australia.
