Rob Lloyd

Rob Lloyd is an actor, comedian and improviser who has performed extensively all around the world and now hosts The Science of Doctor Who presented by RiAus in association with BBC Worldwide Australia and New Zealand.

On stage, he was a member of the cult musical comedy group: The Dodge, Artistic Director of improvisational comedy group: The Crew and a member of the award winning comedy trio: The Hounds.

On television, Rob appeared as an ensemble member of Thank God You’re Here (Season One), and was the host of the Channel 31 shows: The Mutant Way and Live on Bowen.

Rob also enjoyed touring with the RiAus Free Range Science program throughout Victoria.

Rob has been a Doctor Who fan for over 15 years – his favourite stories are: Inferno; The Robots of Death; The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances; and Dinosaurs on a Spaceship.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who in 2013, Rob took his one-man, Doctor Who-themed comedy show Who, Me. on an international tour with sell-out seasons right across Australia, New Zealand and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
