Cherry Greenslade has always loved to crochet and was thrilled to be Project Manager of the RiAus Adelaide Reef, a satellite of the worldwide Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef Project. Craft and creativity are a big part of her life. She set up the popular craft group, Brown Owls in Adelaide in 2009 and has been involved in Knitting Nancy, a knitting and crochet Fringe exhibition in 2010 and in 2011. Both of these gave her wonderful opportunities to meet other like minded crafters that continue to inspire her. She was delighted to be able to combine her creative crocheting skills with her professional career skills on such an exciting project as the RiAus Adelaide Reef.
