Become an RiAus volunteer

Volunteering for RiAus is a fantastic way to learn new skills, meet like-minded people and let your passion for science and technology shine. As a not-for-profit organisation, volunteers play a very important role in RiAus activities.

You can help in many ways, including assisting at events, photography, blog/article writing, distributing promotional material and helping us with our social media updates. Current volunteering opportunities are listed below.

Social Media Assistant

Our online presence is an important part of RiAus’ science engagement activities. As a social media assistant you will share the latest news with our audiences. This position is flexible in hours, so long as a consistent presence is maintained. We are happy for you to choose which tasks and which social media platforms best suit you, and to mix and match as you wish.
