What will be the new 40?

Guests were invited to join internationally-renowned neuroscientist, Baroness Prof Susan Greenfield CBE, to learn more about recent advances in neuroscience.

Discussion centred on how future intervention might allow some of those now considered elderly, to enjoy the mental agility of a 40 year old.

With 30% of today’s 16 year olds destined to be centenarians, the implications are mind-boggling. We asked: will they be alert, active and enjoying life?

The massive implications for public policy in the areas of aging, housing and health were explored.

Guests enjoyed premium wines, gourmet canapés and freshly shucked oysters.
