Adelaide Festival of Ideas: Three technologies that will change the way we live

Regenerative medicine, zero emission cities, and synthetic meat are three radical technologies with the potential to change our lives. In this session we explored the contribution of ‘enabling technologies’ in driving rapid change, and look at the associated socio-cultural, health, safety and environmental impacts. We asked you whether these technologies excite or scare you, and use foresight approaches to demonstrate possible outcomes.

ABC Catalyst’s Maryanne Demasi hosted the discussion exploring how these technologies may change the way we live, and how we can best manage such rapid and transformative changes.

Presented by RiAus and Bridge8 for the National Enabling Technologies Strategy Expert Forum and the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research
