Book club: The wavewatcher’s companion

For our first book club of 2012 we discussed The Wavewatcher’s Companion, winner of the Royal Society’s Winton Prize for Science Books 2011. Author Gavin Pretor-Pinney is founder of the Cloud Appreciation Society.

Exploring waves from Mexican to electro-magnetic, the book uses straightforward science to transform our perspectives on the everyday world.
