From droughts to flooding rains

Droughts today, floods and cyclones tomorrow. Are you wondering what is driving our crazy weather? We heard local and internationally recognised climate science experts – Darren Ray, Karl Braganza, Scott Power and Susannah Eliott — explain recent events and how they fit into a broader climate context.

Videos from the evening reveal how the extremes we are experiencing in Australia compare to our historic record and the rest of the world, and how we are changing the way we predict climate and weather.

Hosted by Ed Sykes, this session answered all your questions.

In association with the Australian Meteorological Association, Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society and the Bureau of Meteorology.

Free, but booking required
