This event was for those wanting to update their skills, industry knowledge and business practices, and wanting to network with other industry players.

Our first Cafe Entrepreneur networking evening focused on the defence technology industry. Our keynote speaker was Jim Whalley from the Nova Group of Companies, who has successfully grown a multimillion dollar business from modest beginnings. Jim considered the theme of ‘limitless growth’, sharing his experiences of expanding a business and reaching new markets.

SME representatives then presented ‘three-minute pitches’ about their business successes and challenges.
