Warming up to our solar energy theme for September and October, our book selection for the month was Ian McEwan’s Solar (2010). A satirical look at the topic of climate change, the story follows physicist Michael Beard, a former Nobel Laureate living on past glory, who becomes involved in a search for clean, green energy.
